About the Role:As an LPN, you will be responsible for assessing patients, administering medications and treatments, participating in care planning, and supervising LPNs and certified nursing assistants. You will also communicate with physicians regarding changes in resident conditions, diagnostic test results, and other important information.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients by physical examination, including pertinent diagnostic testing to determine health status.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Participate in the care planning process to ensure individualized care for each resident.
- Supervise LPNs and certified nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care is provided.
- Communicate with physicians regarding changes in resident conditions, diagnostic test results, and other important information.
- Document assessments and care in compliance with standards of care and company policy.
- Educate patients and their families on health-related issues.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Valid State licensure as an LPN.
- Current CPR certification.
- One-year experience in a long-term care environment (preferred).
