Senior Branch Representative

Seattle Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated Senior Branch Representative to join our team. As a Senior Branch Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling credit union products and services, and achieving sales and service goals.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a consultant to members regarding financial wellness by actively listening and identifying appropriate aligned products, knowledge, and solutions.
- Lead by example in promoting and selling credit union products and services, including loans, deposits, CD's, and estate planning.
- Achieve or exceed all sales and service goals.
- Ensure compliance with Seattle Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Demonstrate commitment to SCU Values.
- Act as an informal mentor and coach for less seasoned teammates to support high performance and professional development.
- Participate in resolution of reported member issues and concerns member escalations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key members and community partners.
- Advocate for and educate members on digital banking tools and services.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the community.
- Represent the credit union at community events and networking functions.
- Efficiently produce quality work with varying levels of difficulty and turnaround times.
- Effectively adjusts to changing and evolving priorities and expectations.
- Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships with all levels of teammates across the organization.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent training/experience.
- One (1)+ year of experience in retail banking or credit union.
- Proven track record with financial sales products.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the state and federal regulations such as Reg. B, Reg. E, Reg. D, Reg. CC, Reg. Z, and the Bank Secrecy Act.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
- Progressive thinker with excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
- Associate degree, or higher, in business or related field.
- Fluent in Spanish.
- Proficiency in leading or coaching fellow employees.
- Six (6)+ months or more experience within a Credit Union environment.
- Formally trained in equity and inclusion, or equivalent experience.
- Additional financial institution experience.
