Customer Service Representative Job Summary

Florida Tile is seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales and service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing customer orders, and assisting with daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently, including product, quantity, and price verification
  • Confirm orders placed by customers via phone, fax, or internet
  • Perform stock and price checks for customers and other branches
  • Provide freight and shipment information to customers and branches in a timely and accurate manner
  • Apply freight and handling expenses to orders and effectively invoice customers for related expenses
  • Regularly follow up with customers on the status of their orders
  • Make collection calls and contacts as directed by the Branch Manager or Branch Operations Manager
  • Perform other daily tasks as directed by the Branch Manager or Branch Operations Manager
Sales-Related Responsibilities
  • Promote add-on sales at the time of order entry by promoting sundries and other related items
  • Assist trade and showroom customers in selecting products
  • Acquire a high level of product knowledge about the company's products and effectively respond to inquiries
  • Maintain the CSR work area in an organized manner conducive to sales and service
  • Provide support to the OSR/BCSS and Design Sales Consultant in the performance of their duties
Qualifications
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at once
  • Customer service experience with a manufacturer of building products preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • SAP software experience and CMS experience a plus
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Team player with commitment to company values
