Job Summary

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality home health care services to adult and geriatric clients. As a Physical Therapist with BAYADA, you will have the opportunity to work independently and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct home visits to assess and treat clients in designated geographic territories.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, including manual therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and other interventions.
  • Educate and instruct clients, family members, or other client representatives on rehabilitative care and activities necessary to promote health, safety, and independent living.
  • Accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations pertaining to client care management and services provided.
Requirements
  • A current Maryland Physical Therapist license.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Physical Therapist.
  • Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred.
