Job Title: Plant Maintenance Worker

FLSA Status: Non-exempt


Summary: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems through the execution of the following tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
  • Identify unusual sounds from machines or equipment to diagnose malfunctions and collaborate with supervisors or other maintenance personnel for repairs.
  • Dismantle defective machinery and install new or repaired components.
  • Perform cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery parts.
  • Schedule maintenance to avoid disruption of production timelines.
  • Coordinate timely repairs to assist production teams in meeting their goals.
  • Install and repair electrical systems, including transformers and wiring.
  • Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, as well as repair gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Maintain the physical structure of the facility.
  • May be required to perform non-maintenance tasks on a temporary basis.
