About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at Gates Corporation. As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure minimum downtime and maximum productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prioritize maintenance work requests to ensure accurate information and efficient resource allocation.
  • Schedule daily, preventative, and predictive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Issue work orders to technicians and address any questions or concerns.
  • Coordinate plant shutdowns and outages to ensure smooth operations.
  • Schedule parts, tools, and services orders according to production and maintenance schedules.
  • Manage vendor and contractor relationships, including quote gathering and selection.
  • Work with accounting and receiving departments to process invoices and receipts.
  • Compile maintenance metric data for reporting and tracking.
  • Manage inventory and control the flow of materials and spare parts.
  • Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of progressive planning, purchasing, and/or maintenance experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Maintenance CMMS software, preferably Infor EAM.
  • Assertive self-starter with effective time-management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong team player with ability to build collaborative relationships.
