Job Overview

As a Branch Sales and Service Associate I in a Universal Branch, you will enhance customer relationships through a structured sales approach. Your primary role will be as a personal banker, engaging clients in sales discussions to identify suitable financial solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Builds and expands the branch customer base through various proactive sales and service initiatives. Oversees the customer experience by pinpointing opportunities to enhance the customer's financial wellbeing. Collaborates with ecosystem partners to increase the customer's share of wallet. Positions PNC offerings to generate new revenue and foster customer loyalty.
  • Initiates proactive sales dialogues through internal and external interactions using a defined sales methodology, including outbound calls, service-to-sales transitions, teller interactions, appointment scheduling, and effective lobby engagement, ultimately enhancing client loyalty. Conducts comprehensive PNC discussions with every client interaction to identify suitable PNC offerings. Utilizes ecosystem partnerships and community Centers of Influence to acquire, expand, and maintain relationships.
  • Fosters customer loyalty and increases customer share of wallet through a unique customer experience. Engages customers in the lobby to connect and present PNC products that meet their needs. Informs customers about options for managing financial transactions by leveraging technology, tools, and resources.
  • Utilizes product and procedural knowledge to identify, mitigate, and resolve customer issues effectively, driving customer loyalty.
  • Manages risk by adhering to all policies and procedures, demonstrating sound judgment within established limits. Exhibits heightened scrutiny to identify and prevent loss. Participates in branch daily operations, ensuring they are completed efficiently and accurately.

Identifies prospecting approaches to identify potential customers and create opportunities to sell financial solutions and ideas to customers.
