Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Team Lead to oversee our break-fix operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in high-demand environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the break-fix team, ensuring that incidents are resolved within SLA timeframes.
  • Coordinate with technicians to assign tasks and prioritize incidents based on severity and business impact.
  • Review technician resolution and closure notes to ensure accurate logging of details and provide metrics reporting.
  • Escalate incidents that cannot be resolved within agreed-upon Service Levels.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to handle break-fix issues.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and skill development.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT support, with at least 2-3 years in a lead or senior technical role.
  • CompTIA A+ certification required.
  • Network+, or Security+ certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, hardware repair, and networking hardware.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
