Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LNA/MNA to join our team at RiverWoods Exeter. As a direct care professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, promoting their health, independence, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and functional nursing care, including transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit-stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool therapy.
  • Develop professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors, fostering open communication and mutual respect.
  • Assist with assessments and treatment procedures, including TPRs, BP readings, weights, specimen collection, skin care, O2 stats, and O2 therapy.
  • Follow infection control guidelines, including Standard Precautions, handling of biohazardous materials, and isolation techniques.
  • Participate in care protocols, including falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, skin integrity, and bowel and bladder management.
  • Accept resident assignments and direction from the Nurse Leader, observing and reporting any changes in physical or mental function.
  • Contribute to the general care and order of resident rooms, belongings, and common areas, cooperating with the overall needs of the facility during times of increased demand.
Requirements
  • Active NH LNA License
  • Prior experience working directly with senior citizens is strongly preferred
