Job Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time LNA to provide direct resident care in a team-focused environment at RiverWoods Exeter. This is a 24 hour a week position that offers a competitive pay rate, including an overnight differential, and a range of benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility and functional nursing care, including transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool.
  • Develop professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors, promoting open communication and mutual respect.
  • Assist with assessments and treatment procedures, including TPR's, BP's, weights, specimen collection, skin care, O2 stats, and O2.
  • Follow Infection Control guidelines, including Standard Precautions, handling of Biohazardous materials, and isolation techniques.
  • Assist with care protocols, including falls prevention, safety and elopement, behavior management, skin integrity, and bowel and bladder management.
  • Accept resident assignment and direction from the Nurse Leader, observing and reporting any changes in physical or mental function.
  • Contribute to the general care and order of resident rooms, belongings, and common areas, cooperating with the overall needs of the facility during times of increased demands.
Qualifications
  • Active NH LNA License
  • Prior experience working directly with senior citizens is strongly preferred
