Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Medication Nursing Assistant to join our team at Rockingham County, NH. As a Medication Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for administering medications to stable residents, performing specified services for residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse, and providing medication administration as determined, delegated, and monitored by a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Administer topical, oral, nasal, ophthalmic, vaginal/rectal medications, and inhalers as directed by a licensed nurse.
  • Replenish medications and supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and orderly medication cart and room.
  • Effectively observe and communicate to the licensed nurse regarding administration and effectiveness of medications, as well as significant observations/abnormalities on resident care.
  • Provide residents with comfort and care through bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting, answering call lights/alarms, and more.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of an approved course for Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) as set by the New Hampshire Board of Nursing and OBRA.
  • Must possess a valid and current LNA license in New Hampshire.
  • Must possess a valid New Hampshire Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) license.
Benefits

  • Shift differential: $2.75/hour for 2nd shift, $3.50/hour for 3rd shift, and $2.00/hour for weekend premium.
