Medical Unit Charge Nurse III Leader

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Surgical Unit Charge Nurse III to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit. You will supervise staff, facilitate communication with physicians and internal administrators, and provide optimal patient and family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct the daily operations of a specific shift on a clinical unit.
- Supervise staff and facilitate communication with physicians and internal administrators.
- Provide optimal patient and family-centered care.
- Recognized as a change agent and lead efforts to strengthen organizational systems that support the mission, vision, and values of the department.
- Role model expert communication skills to colleagues through example.
- Ensure compliance and adherence with stated policies and procedures for the unit.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Two years experience as an RN with a minimum of two years of experience in the area of concentration.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- Certification preferred.
