As a Charge Nurse, you'll be responsible for:

Responsibilities

As a Medical Surgical Unit Charge Nurse, you'll be responsible for:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Coordinating care with other healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers
  • Leading unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
  • Providing education and training to staff members on new procedures and technologies
  • Participating in unit-based decision-making to optimize resource allocation and patient care

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • At least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical setting
  • A valid, active unencumbered Nursing license in the state of Georgia
  • Certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., CCRN, CNL)
