Job Overview

A clinical data management professional with leadership experience is sought for a Senior Manager role. The ideal candidate will oversee lead data managers on assigned projects, ensuring proper planning and execution of data management deliverables that meet company standards within timelines.

This role involves training direct reports to develop adequate data management skills and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. Collaboration with the Director or Associate Director of Data Management is also required to develop SOPs, working practices, and other data management standards.

Salary Range: $129,800 - $211,800 annually

Responsibilities:
  • Act as primary DM contact for assigned therapeutic areas, interacting with clinical counterparts for overall project planning and issue resolution.
  • Supervise direct DM reports for planning and managing relevant DM activities within assigned therapeutic areas, ensuring timely and quality deliverables within budget.
  • Ensure databases are developed, validated, and ready for transfer and/or analysis according to policies and procedures, SOPs, and work instructions in compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Review and approve final archival of project documentation, including Data Management Manual, CRF Completion Guidelines, and validation specifications.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Science, or a related field.
  • No less than 8 years of clinical data management experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, or health-related industries, with at least 3 years of direct people management experience.
