Job Summary

Rochester Electronics is seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the care and repair of our company buildings, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular building checks to identify potential issues or needed repairs.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, repairing sheetrock, and replacing ceiling tiles and light bulbs.
  • Ensure clear walkways and emergency exits are maintained year-round.
  • Assist with equipment and furniture moves, and provide direction to subcontractors as needed.
  • Perform basic plumbing repairs and other maintenance tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in facility maintenance for a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or with a team.
  • Able to multitask and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft products and Outlook.
