**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our team at Parker Hannifin Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting and payroll functions with minimal supervision.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Process accounts payable transactions, research discrepancies, and communicate with suppliers on issues and payment status.

* Process weekly payroll, reconcile timecard hours with various reports, and process pay adjustments and deductions.

* Process monthly journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.

* Assist with accounts receivable collections and sales adjustments.

* Investigate questionable data and take corrective action when necessary.

* Interface with functional departments, management, vendors, and customers.

**Requirements:**

* Three years of accounting or payroll experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.

* Two years of college accounting or equivalent professional coursework preferred.

* Prior computer experience (Microsoft Office products) and data entry required.

* Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

* Must demonstrate effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

* Ability to work with others and be a participative team player.
