Position Overview: Education Advisor at Ladgov Corporation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice to military personnel regarding educational programs available during off-duty hours.
  • Assist Active-Duty Air Force members in exploring CCAF degree options by evaluating military training, course completions, and transcripts to maximize credit transfer.
  • Monitor and analyze reports from the CCAF Online platform to support potential graduates in tracking their academic progress.
  • Educate prospective CCAF graduates on the effective use of AFVEC features, personal data updates, and supervisor interactions.
  • Guide service members in utilizing conversion tables and credit exam matrices, along with managing their transcripts efficiently.
  • Process CCAF Action Requests and maintain communication with service members regarding updates.
  • Document all interactions with service members and compile weekly reports for the Education Services Officer.
  • Obtain confirmation emails for CCAF graduations as required.
  • Support ADAF with comprehensive educational resources, including tuition assistance, VA benefits, scholarships, and financial aid options.
  • Ensure that courses selected for CCAF align with the specified degree requirements.
  • Assist new CCAF Instructors and students with the enrollment process.
  • Recommend students to academic institution representatives for course registration.
  • Advise on DANTES testing programs available to students.
  • Conduct informational briefings for various stakeholders as necessary.
  • Prepare relevant correspondence, documentation, and maintain accurate records for all job-related tasks.
  • Provide guidance on CCAF graduation ceremonies.
  • Keep detailed records of advising and counseling sessions conducted.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a background verification process.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in adult or military education advising.
  • Familiarity with Air Force terminology and educational frameworks is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access is preferred.
