Education Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Advisor to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. As an Education Advisor, you will play a critical role in advising active-duty personnel on various educational programs and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and advice to Active-Duty Air Force members on CCAF degree opportunities, evaluating military training and course completions, reviewing transcripts, and applying credit obtained.
- Pull and analyze reports from the CCAF Online website to identify potential graduates and track progress.
- Teach service members how to use AFVEC features, including updating personal data and supervisor information.
- Instruct service members on how to use the Civilian Course Conversion Table (CivCCT), Military Course Conversion Table (Mil CCT), and 2017 Credit by Exam Matrix by Degree Program.
- Submit CCAF Action Requests to CCAF Program Managers and follow up with service members regarding replies and/or action taken.
- Document all interactions with service members in AFAEMS and provide weekly statistics to the Education Services Officer (ESO).
- Retrieve CCAF graduation confirmation emails from the organization email box.
- Assist service members with information regarding Air Force tuition assistance, Veteran Administration education benefits, federal financial assistance programs, local scholarships, and Air Force Aid Society.
- Ensure courses taken for CCAF using military TA are needed for CCAF degree and complete counseling notes in AFAEMS.
- Assist incoming CCAF Instructors with requirements and enrollment into Instructor of Technology & Military Science degree.
- Refer students to academic institution representatives for registration and enrollment in courses or programs that pertain to their education goals.
- Advise students of DANTES tests applicable to their programs of study.
- Conduct briefings for ADAF/ADSF and other requestors as needed.
- Prepare necessary correspondence and forms and maintain related records and logs.
- Advise the Space Launch Delta 30 designated graduation committee on semi-annual CCAF graduation ceremonies.
- Maintain a record of advisement or counseling sessions conducted.
Requirements:
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university.
- Pass a background check.
- Two years or more of experience in adult or military education academic advising.
- Knowledge of or experience with Air Force terminology, office procedures, and education programs is preferred.
- Familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Access is also preferred.
