Radiology Technologist Ambulatory Services Specialist

As a Radiology Technologist Ambulatory Services Specialist with DispatchHealth Management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, in a variety of settings and locations.
• Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions, to perform imaging exams.
• Operate portable radiologic equipment and ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
• Ensure that the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies and maintain a safe and organized workspace.
Requirements:
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related field.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
