Radiology Technologist Ambulatory Services Specialist

As a Radiology Technologist Ambulatory Services Specialist with DispatchHealth Management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities. This position requires a skilled and compassionate individual who can work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, in a variety of settings and locations.
• Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions, to perform imaging exams.
• Operate portable radiologic equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use of equipment and supplies.
• Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
• Ensure that the vehicle is well-stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
• Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations related to portable imaging procedures and standards.
• Perform training and orientation of other employees as requested by management.
• Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.
Requirements:
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
• Proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, programs, and digital x-ray technology.
