We are seeking a highly skilled Titanium Aerospace Parts Production Specialist to join our team at PCT - Pacific Cast Technologies. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating chemical milling equipment to produce high-quality titanium aerospace parts.
Key Responsibilities- Chemical Milling Operations: Operate chemical milling equipment to remove shallow layers of material from large aircraft components and extruded parts.
- Material Handling: Move titanium castings by means of a large hand cart throughout the manufacturing area, delivering castings to various departments.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all produced parts meet the required specifications and quality standards.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance on equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent GED required.
- Experience: Prior industry experience preferred, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
- Skills: Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to withstand long periods of standing and walking, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Work Environment: Frequently works near moving mechanical parts, with exposure to dust and noise levels within OSHA regulations.
- Schedule: Weekend Graveyard Shift (Friday-Sunday 5:00pm-5:30am) with a $2.50/hr shift differential.
