Cascades Containerboard Packaging division is seeking a Sales Representative to join our team in the Northeastern New York and New Jersey territory, specializing in the lithography printing and displays market.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to secure new business accounts, leveraging market insights and customer relationships to drive growth
  • Grow revenues and execute business plan to enhance sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within Northeastern NY market
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to gather market intelligence, adjust strategies, and update customer profiles and needs data
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across all levels of their organization to ensure excellent service and maximize profitability
  • Support contract creation and negotiation for accounts, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and margin ranges.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting, manage account plans, and utilize CRM to facilitate integration and coherent customer approach among business units
  • Understanding Cascades' offerings, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and serving as a market expert to promote positive company image and cultivate long-term customer relationships
  • Execute administrative tasks including managing customer data in SAP, conducting cold calls, and maintaining accurate records to support sales activities and enhance customer engagement.

  • Extensive knowledge and expertise in the corrugated packaging industry
  • Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a Sales Representative role
  • Knowledge with lithography printing and displays market is a strong asset
  • Proven track record in acquiring new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Recognize and address customer needs, interests, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
  • Proficient in product demonstration and knowledge transfer, contributing to team expertise and enhancing customer understanding of Cascades' solutions
  • Driven to communicate effectively, present solutions, and maintain superior market knowledge
  • Skilled negotiator and influencer with strong networking abilities, adept at identifying and securing opportunities
  • Willingness and eagerness to travel for business to effectively cover the assigned market
