Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the General Ledger system, including account management, month-end and quarter-end processes, and account reconciliations.
    1. Conduct bank reconciliations.
    2. Validate accounts receivable and accounts payable reconciliations.
    3. Assist in generating inventory reports including Work in Progress, Raw Materials, and Finished Goods.
    4. Manage bad debt assessments.
  • Support the achievement and maintenance of ITW Graphics' IDS metrics.
    1. Monitor accounts receivable percentage (over 60 days).
    2. Track Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
    3. Evaluate Months on Hand for inventory.
    4. Manage Slow and Obsolete Inventory (SLOB).
  • Maintain and document site purchase and travel card transactions.
    1. Authorize final payments to the bank.
    2. Export data from purchase and travel cards to create monthly expense journal entries.
  • Record capital expenditures and manage fixed assets.
    1. Prepare financial documentation for capital requests.
    2. Maintain approved capital expenditures.
    3. Manage the addition and disposal of fixed assets.
    4. Execute and document monthly depreciation.
    5. Oversee vehicle fleet management and asset replacement as necessary.
  • Process accounts payable invoices and payments to the bank.
  • Assist in annual reporting requirements including unclaimed property, accounts payable spend, and tax documentation.
  • Support both internal and external auditors during audit processes.
  • Engage in assigned projects aimed at continuous improvement by applying key principles and techniques. Recommend process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure robust internal control procedures to protect company assets in line with ITW Financial Policy and US GAAP.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration with a focus on Accounting is required.

Experience and Skills:

  1. A minimum of 1 year of accounting experience in a related field; audit experience is advantageous.
  2. Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Strong data entry, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
  4. Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
  5. Skilled in multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  6. Proficient in ERP systems.
  7. Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel.
  8. Familiarity with US GAAP reporting standards and practical experience in their application.
