About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to join our team at Methuen Construction Company, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient use of people, equipment, and materials on our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce safety standards and best practices on site, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Plan, layout, and execute excavation, backfill, and installation of underground piping and utilities, including ductile iron piping, PVC piping, HDPE piping, and reinforced concrete piping.
  • Provide accurate layout for line and grade, using established benchmarks.
  • Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers, rollers, and other machinery.
  • Review and analyze job cost reports and labor production reports to optimize project efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve high-quality construction within budget and on time.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial construction experience.
  • Current licenses applicable to the trade.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Applicable hydraulic equipment operation and/or hoisting licenses, desirable.
