NinjAdventure Zone Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Alfond Youth and Community Center is excited to unveil our new NinjAdventure Zone, and we are in search of dedicated Attendants. These individuals will be instrumental in managing the NinjAdventure Zone, which features an indoor obstacle course, a playground, and a climbing wall. Your role will involve collaborating with your colleagues to ensure that our members enjoy a high-quality experience. The primary responsibility of the Attendants is to oversee the NinjAdventure Zone and uphold the established guidelines. While this program is not designed as childcare, Attendants will work alongside parents to support the care of children without being solely accountable for them. Contribute to making every visitor's day a little more enjoyable by becoming a NinjAdventure Zone Attendant.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Adhere to all program protocols and guidelines. Show a willingness to engage in all aspects of the NinjAdventure Zone.
• Effectively communicate with children, teens, adults, and groups to provide guidance on utilizing the NinjAdventure Zone while enforcing safety regulations and emergency protocols.
• Recognize and address environmental and other risks associated with the activities.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and maintenance checks.
• Perform light cleaning and upkeep of the NinjAdventure Zone equipment and the areas it occupies.

EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must possess CPR/First Aid certification or be willing to obtain certification.

EXPERIENCE:

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience working with children, youth, and adults.

WORK SCHEDULE: Availability required on weekends and Friday evenings, totaling approximately 10-16 hours per week.

PAY RATE: $14.15 per hour
