Job Title: Lead Solution Architect

CVS Health is seeking a highly skilled Lead Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing business solutions that drive strategic initiatives and deliver value to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain business solution designs for key strategic initiatives
  • Partner with Digital, Data and Analytics, IT, EA, Infrastructure and Security teams to deliver solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
  • Design and implement cloud-native/cloud-first architectures
  • Experience integrating with legacy mainframe/mid-range AS400 applications
Requirements:
  • 10+ years in design/development experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on cloud implementation experience
  • Best in class technical subject matter expertise and domain knowledge
  • SME level understanding of cloud design and architecture for one or more public cloud provider (Azure, AWS, preferably GCP)
  • SME level technical skills in application, data, integration and security architecture/design
  • SME level understanding of APIs (Rest, GraphQL, and gRPC) and microservices-based architecture
  • Domain Driven Design: Ability to map the domain scope to Bounded Contexts /Microservices
  • Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern applications and legacy infrastructure leveraging streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
  • Ability to collaborate with Digital, IT, EA, Ops and Security to deliver solutions
  • Experience in enterprise development tools and methodologies (XP, Agile) including DevSecOps and DataOps
  • Hands-on technologists with coding skills and proficient in modern technology stacks (Cloud, DevOps, Kafka etc.)
  • Understanding of both SQL and NoSQL database technologies as well as Cloud database technologies
  • Demonstrable hands-on experience is a must
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the PBM Industry is a PLUS. GCP/Azure Architect cloud certification is preferred.
Education:
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field required or equivelant experience
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred or equivelant experience
Pay Range:

The typical pay range for this role is:

$118,450.00 - $236,900.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
