About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Veterinarian to join our Community Medicine team in Los Angeles. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional veterinary care to animals in need, while also leading and mentoring our team of veterinarians and support staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality veterinary care to animals in our clinics, including physical examinations, diagnostics, and treatment recommendations.
  • Lead and mentor our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure excellent patient care and a positive work environment.
  • Develop and implement protocols for high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter services and other community medicine programs.
  • Collaborate with our medical and operational teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in veterinary medicine and community health.
Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent.
  • Current California State Veterinary License.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery, with a focus on high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate a team of veterinarians and support staff.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
