Your primary duties will include:

  • Evaluating the physical attributes, exterior dimensions, overall condition, and potential hazards of properties, which will be compiled into detailed reports.
  • Providing essential information that assists our client companies in determining whether a property qualifies under their eligibility criteria.
  • Acting as the representative for insurance underwriters who are typically based in offices away from the field.

Work Schedule:
As an independent contractor, you will have the flexibility to set your own hours and organize your work schedule to meet client needs.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A proactive attitude with the ability to handle a high volume of inspections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a resourceful and decisive mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A strong drive for success and the capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Self-discipline and organizational skills to manage a demanding workload effectively.
  • Preferred qualifications include VIITA Certification or experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, life safety, firefighting, general contracting, or property management.

  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance and a driver's license.
  • Essential tools including a measuring wheel, monopod, and clipboard.
