Position Overview:
Nemours Children's Health Pensacola is looking for a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role involves conducting both standard and specialized pulmonary function evaluations, as well as stress and metabolic assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute thorough patient evaluations and reassessments.
- Educate patients and/or their guardians in a clear and comprehensible manner to enhance patient care outcomes and satisfaction.
- Perform arterial and capillary blood sampling for gas analysis (infrequent).
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure routine maintenance of diagnostic equipment is performed.
- Manage and procure necessary supplies for outreach services.
- Support patient flow within the clinic.
- Ensure adherence to provider directives.

Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State License required.
- NBRC - RRT certification required.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required; PALS certification to be obtained within six months of employment.
