Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Operations Manager at Walgreens, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacies. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our pharmacy team, including managing workflow, supervising staff, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate pharmacy operations, including workflow, staffing, and inventory management.
  • Supervise and develop pharmacy technicians, including training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations, including Good Faith Dispensing and asset protection.
  • Communicate effectively with pharmacy team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in key store/pharmacy meetings and contribute to the development of pharmacy financials, operational quality, and customer service.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
  • Ability to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous people management/leadership experience.
  • Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.
Benefits:
