Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process incoming shipments of medical supplies and equipment
  • Stock and maintain inventory levels in clinical departments and supply lockers
  • Distribute supplies and equipment to all hospital departments
  • Process and maintain paperwork for receiving and inventory
  • Track patient-care equipment and monitor expiration dates
  • Communicate with hospital staff regarding shipments, supplies, and equipment
  • Deliver supplies and equipment to off-site facilities and physician offices
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous hospital or supply experience preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to communicate with staff
  • Ability to cope with and remain calm under stress
  • Ability to tolerate moderate noise levels for prolonged periods
  • Ability to respond to telephones and other auditory stimulation
  • Ability to discriminate color
  • Bending and lifting (0-50 lbs), grasping, fine hand coordination, pushing and pulling (up to 100 pounds), and prolonged standing and/or sitting
