Job Summary:
Triage Staffing LLC is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Professional to fill a travel assignment in a laboratory setting. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood draws, urinalyses, and other diagnostic tests
- Collect and process laboratory specimens for testing
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of laboratory results and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely test results
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)
- 1+ year of experience in a laboratory setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
