Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Participate in weekly ad meetings to stay informed about sales strategies and promotions.
- Place calls to customers in the existing client base to inquire about order needs and provide support.
- Develop a travel schedule to visit key accounts and assist with customer business needs.
- Train customers on effective retail pricing and product use.
- Respond to customer inquiries, orders, complaints, and product returns.
- Collect accurate information for pick requests, customer orders, and product issues.
- Solicit additional sales through suggestive selling and daily product offerings.
- Maintain good customer relations through exceptional people skills.
- Stay up-to-date on product mix, company specifics, and customer knowledge.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.
- Minimum two years' sales experience, with relevant continuing education may be substituted for experience.
- Basic computer skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Working Environment:
This is a basic office environment with extended periods of sitting, working directly with a computer screen, and interacting with customers via phone. You will spend the majority of your day interacting with internal and external customers.
