Griffin Memorial Hospital (GMH) is a leading treatment center for adults in Oklahoma, serving 77 counties as a Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) facility. Our hospital provides in-patient care for those in need of mental health & substance abuse services.


Salary Information

  • Hourly Rates: $14.10-$15.28 per hour
  • Potential extra pay: $0.50/hour for evening/night shifts, $0.75/hour for weekend/holiday shifts, plus an additional $1 per hour shift pay that can be stacked on top of the Evening/Weekend pay

Job Description

We are seeking a Mental Health Technician or Mental Health Technician II to join our team at Griffin Memorial Hospital. In this role, you will provide non-professional direct or indirect care for consumers of behavioral health treatment in an inpatient care setting.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Possess a strong commitment to patient well-being and safety
  • Believe that recovery is possible
  • Level II: At least one year of behavioral health patient care experience required

Working Conditions

This position requires occasional lifting/carrying 50 pounds, pushing/pulling a maximum force of 25 pounds, and fulfilling job-related travel normally associated with this position.
