Position Overview

The role of the Customer Service Representative (CSR) is vital in our Medicare Customer Service division. This position involves comprehensive training conducted on-site, followed by a work-from-home arrangement upon successful completion of the training program.

Training Schedule

The training period lasts for 10 weeks, requiring full-time commitment from Monday to Friday, with shifts starting as early as 7 AM CST and concluding as late as 7 PM CST. Please note that no time off is permitted during this training phase.

Permanent Work Schedule

After training, the permanent schedule will also allow shifts starting as early as 7 AM CST and ending as late as 8 PM CST.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inquiries from Medicare Advantage members through various communication channels, including inbound calls and written correspondence.
  • Provide empathetic support to Medicare beneficiaries, ensuring their needs are prioritized through attentive listening and patience.
  • Engage in continuous training and personal development to enhance service delivery.
  • Work independently while honoring commitments to members and collaborating with team members to create exceptional member experiences.
  • Efficiently navigate multiple systems to resolve complex issues, acting as an advocate for our members.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
  • 1-2 years of experience in the health insurance sector.

Preferred:

  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

The typical pay range for this position is $28.46 per hour. This range reflects the base hourly rate for all roles within this job grade. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and location.
