Job Description

Position Overview:
UpNexa is in search of a Clover POS Implementation Specialist to support various establishments in the Long Island region and nearby areas. This role primarily involves on-site engagement for the deployment of Clover POS systems across diverse business environments, with occasional opportunities for remote consultations. The specialist will oversee hardware installation, provide training, and offer live support during the system launch, as well as conduct follow-up service visits as needed. The individual in this position will possess in-depth knowledge of Clover's features and functionalities, guiding the implementation process effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Clover POS hardware, including terminals, kitchen display systems, kiosks, handheld devices, wireless access points, and printers.
  • Timely completion and submission of installation documentation.
  • Training Duties:
  • Consult with business owners and operators to tailor Clover functionalities to their specific requirements.
  • Provide training for business owners, operators, and managers on basic setup and configuration.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for front-of-house, back-of-house staff, and management.
  • Be present on-site during the initial rollout to address inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and guide users through additional Clover features.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Clover onboarding consultants and internal team members.
  • Stay informed about updates and new features related to Clover.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in the restaurant industry.
  • Background in point of sale system configuration.
  • Preferred network certification or relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with Clover POS in administrative, management, or front-end roles.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Access to a laptop and mobile phone.
  • Availability for full-time work.
  • Flexible scheduling capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.

Work Schedule:

  • 8-hour shifts.
  • Monday through Friday.
  • Weekend availability may be required.
