Auto Body Technician Job Description

At The Boyd Group, we're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences through our meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles. As an Auto Body Technician, you'll play a pivotal role in our company's promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure consistent execution of our WOW plan to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Plan and prepare cost estimates for customers, utilizing various tools and techniques to repair vehicle sections.
  • Repair and replace damaged vehicle parts, including glass and windshields, using a range of skills and equipment.
  • Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage, ensuring accurate and safe repairs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned, working collaboratively with team members to achieve repair facility KPIs.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
  • Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
  • Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
  • Ability to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.
