Job Summary

This role is an entry-level position in professional social work for employees who are recent graduates or those with experience but not yet licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the State of California.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments of patients and families to evaluate social, emotional, and physical needs.
  • Develop and implement patient and family psychosocial treatment plans, coordinating referrals to specialty and social services.
  • Provide supportive counseling, grief counseling, crisis intervention, and other therapeutic services to assist patients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Manage assigned caseload, including case finding for patients and families with potential psychosocial needs.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited college or university.
  • Successful completion of Master's program prior to start date.
  • Pediatric social work experience and healthcare experience are preferred.
Work Environment

This role is based at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, a world-renowned pediatric hospital that provides comprehensive care to children and families.

Compensation

Salary is based on level and requirements of the role, with a minimum to midpoint range of $100,630.40 to $112,840.00 for a 1.0 FTE position.
