- Manage Project Timelines and Deliverables: Manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Provide Guidance and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping them to develop their skills and advance in their careers.
- Contribute to Infrastructure Automation: Actively contribute to infrastructure automation, monitoring, and alerting strategies, ensuring that our infrastructure is scalable, reliable, and secure.
- 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead responsible for directing the work of others
- Production experience at scale of a generative AI application or platform
- Expert proficiency in Python and solid skills in TypeScript or Java, as well as some experience in a modern compiled language such as Go or Rust
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
- Expert experience in one of the cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and solid understanding of infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Expert in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and project management tools
- Strong familiarity with scaling tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Able to work on-site in our offices in Palo Alto 3 days per week
- Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.)
- Some experience with all three major cloud providers (GCP, Azure, AWS)
- Significant experience with GCP in particular
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, Angular, etc.)
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry
The pay range for this role is between $200,000 and $250,000, and will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits.
