Defense Industry Technical Representative

TRIOPTICS is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Defense Industry Technical Representative. This is a remote position requiring occasional travel to the US defense industry. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our presence in the defense sector.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the defense industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
- Present TRIOPTICS products and services to customers, including both standard and custom solutions.
- Active involvement in budget development, forecasting, quoting, and contract execution.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and trade shows as required.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts using CRM databases and participate in regular sales meetings.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales with a focus on the US defense industry.
- Proven track record of successful sales growth and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of optical systems, sensors, camera modules, test & measurement applications, metrology equipment, and automated manufacturing.
- Ability to prepare and present effective technical product presentations and communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFQs, and reports.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with a professional demeanor.
