We are seeking a skilled Property Damage Specialist to join our team at The Cincinnati Insurance Companies. This role involves conducting reviews and reinspections of property appraisals, serving as a technical resource for property repair, and completing quality property repair appraisals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct reviews of in-process or closed property staff appraisals and quality assurance audits (reinspections) of moderately complex residential & commercial staff property appraisals.
  • Serve as a technical resource to associates for property repair, contents claims, and completing property appraisals with property estimating software and associated tools.
  • Possess required state adjuster and appraiser licenses as needed.
  • On occasion, complete quality property repair appraisals based on photographs.
  • Prepare/compile team reinspection results and deliver presentations to leadership and field teams.
  • Participate in new hire Property Scoping and Estimating training.
  • Assist CAT operations when needed both virtually and in person.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of property repair estimating experience.
  • IICRC certification and/or technical school training is a plus but not required.
  • Use of property repair estimating software.
  • Two years of claims department experience is a plus but not required.
  • Use of Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

Salary Range:$55,000-$85,000 annually. Pay is based on the applicant's education, experience, location, knowledge, skills and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.

The successful candidate will have expertise in property nomenclature, design, technology, construction, damage analysis and repair techniques for residential and commercial property structures. They will also possess negotiating skills, analytical skills, detail-oriented skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting and maintaining predetermined service levels.
