Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience using HR software such as Viventium and WellSky databases.
  • Reliable and people-oriented, with a passion for working with diverse individuals and prioritizing employee needs.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Hiring Department to identify employment needs.
  • Conduct interviews with potential applicants to assess their skills, experience, and education.
  • Contact references and perform background checks on applicants.
  • Verify employment authorization and run background checks and E-verify employees' I-9.
  • Ensure caregivers complete Elderly Abuse training modules.
  • Inform applicants about position details, including working conditions, benefits, and duties.
  • Hire or refer qualified applicants to the hiring manager.
  • Conduct or assist with new employee orientation.
  • Manage paperwork and employment records.
  • Source candidates from various search databases.
  • Review employment applications and resumes to evaluate work history, education, and training.
  • Conduct preliminary interviews to screen for strong potential candidates and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Manage the candidate experience throughout the recruitment process to ensure a positive experience for all candidates.
  • Identify opportunities to improve the recruitment process and recommend changes.
  • Maintain HR and benefit files, both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Support the HR Manager in educating employees and management on company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Execute employee termination procedures, including advising employees on their rights and processing terminations.
  • Present new training materials to employees.
  • Foster positive employee relations and resolve employee issues.
  • Ensure accurate and confidential employee record-keeping.
  • Adhere to company HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
  • Support line managers in employee investigations with the HR Manager.
