Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Tank Crew Specialist with our team at US Army DFW. As a Tank Crew Specialist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a M1 Abrams Tank, working collaboratively with a team to navigate complex terrain and neutralize potential threats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a M1 Abrams Tank, ensuring optimal performance and safety

• Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on the tank, including routine checks and troubleshooting

• Utilize weapons operations and ammunition handling procedures to ensure effective combat readiness

• Operate communications systems to maintain situational awareness and coordinate with team members

Requirements:

• Attend a 22-week paid training program to gain skills and certifications in weapons operations, maintenance, and heavy equipment operations

• Possess a strong understanding of tank operations and maintenance procedures

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
