Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled senior developer to contribute to Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization efforts for an enterprise Integrated Workspace Management System (IWMS). This system delivers infrastructure and facilities management solutions critical to mission success. The ideal candidate will be adept at mastering a Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) product and developing deep subject matter expertise. This role requires tackling challenges independently and collaborating within a dynamic, high-visibility team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance complex operational software systems.
  • Engage with Government project leadership to prioritize tasks.
  • Develop task estimates and provide input to Government roadmaps.
  • Conduct software upgrades, debug existing applications, and resolve defects.
  • Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and environments.
  • Investigate and analyze user issues to identify potential solutions.

Qualifications

Must possess a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

A bachelor's degree with six (6) years of experience in software development and engineering is required. Alternatively, ten (10) years of software development experience may substitute for a degree. Proficiency in JavaScript and XML is essential, along with a solid understanding of the Linux server environment. Candidates should be willing to embrace challenges and strive to become experts in the products they work with.

Experience with COTS integration and developing technical documentation is preferred. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot computer systems and software are necessary. Candidates must be available to work during core hours of 10 am-2 pm Monday - Friday, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.

Additionally, experience in closely collaborating with Government clients and managing systems hosted in virtual environments such as AWS or C2S is desired. Familiarity with Java and JavaScript, Oracle and SQL databases, as well as knowledge of ARCHIBUS and agile development methodologies will be advantageous. Proficiency with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Confluence & Jira, and experience with Perceptive Content or any content management or workflow management suite is also beneficial.
