Assistant Director of Campus Activities and Leadership

The Assistant Director of Campus Activities and Leadership will play a key role in planning, promoting, and managing a wide range of campus events and programs that foster a vibrant social life and support student leadership development.
This position requires a strong understanding of Christian principles and a passion for education. The ideal candidate will have experience in student affairs and be able to manage large-scale events, oversee fiscal and operational complexities, and supervise professional and support staff.
The Assistant Director will work closely with the CA&L Director to support the university's mission and strategic priorities. This includes facilitating university-wide programming, such as Fall and Winter Orientation, Weekend of Welcome, and other events that promote a successful transition to the university environment.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for enhancing learning opportunities that support the development of leadership skills among student-staff leaders, supporting the campus-wide student leadership hiring season, and preparing and managing the operating budget and expenditures associated with key areas of oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, promote, and manage campus events and programs that foster a vibrant social life and support student leadership development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree in Student Affairs or related area preferred
- Administrative experience at the collegiate level, including managing large-scale campus events and overseeing fiscal and operational complexities
- Demonstrated record of successful administrative leadership and experience managing and supervising professional and support staff
- Strong understanding of Christian principles and a passion for education
- Ability to work occasional irregular hours, including some nights and weekends
