We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team at AllHealth Network. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality medical care to adult psychiatric clients, working closely with colleagues, care providers, and community resources to ensure seamless integration of complex services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide competent, quality medical care to adult psychiatric clients, including psychiatric assessments, evaluations, and interventions.
- Ensure psychiatric services and follow-ups are completed within established timelines, collaborating with colleagues and care providers as needed.
- Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to provide internal and external care coordination services, promoting improved client outcomes and ensuring seamless integration of complex services.
- Provide interventions and documentation to meet regulatory standards and/or contractual requirements within your scope of practice.
- Actively participate and contribute within a team-based model, ensuring integration of services and promoting improved client outcomes.
- Provide daily follow-up to evaluate and monitor medication effectiveness, including any side effects or adverse reactions.
- Collaborate with partner medical providers, BHOs, outpatient providers, and insurance companies to provide appropriate continuity of care.
- Maintain current knowledge of psychopharmacology, including medication interactions, through ongoing collaboration and consultation with the psychiatrist.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and within established timeframes, adhering to accepted standards of practice.
- Ensure the diagnosis is updated and consistent with the psychiatric evaluation for each client.
- Appropriately intervene when crisis occurs, collaborating with the team as needed.
- Understand and follow policies and procedures regarding the use of seclusion and restraint, mental health holds, medications, grievance information, and client rights.
- Follow all AllHealth Network policies and procedures.
- Complete all required trainings as listed in Relias Learning within required timelines.
- Participate in on-call hours on a rotating schedule with other campus medical providers.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN/MS) or Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) or Master of Clinical Health Services (MCHS).
- Unrestricted DEA license.
- At least one year post-master's direct clinical experience with adult psychiatric clients in a medical/behavioral health setting.
- Experience working with psychiatric medications with both acute and chronically mentally ill clients.
- Demonstrated interpersonal and clinical leadership skills.
- Decision-making ability, organizational skills, and effective communication skills.
- Medical expertise, ability to establish effective consulting relationships, and function collaboratively in multiple systems.
