Job Title: Product Testing and Compliance Specialist

Serena & Lily, a leading lifestyle and home furnishings brand, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to manage product testing and compliance for our home retail categories. As a Product Testing and Compliance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of product testing, including report review, failure mitigation, lab management, and test protocol development and updates.
  • Partner with internal business teams and external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain testing protocols, including identifying needs, new protocol development, and updates to existing protocols.
  • Provide technical support and education to cross-functional teams on product safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Manage vendor inquiries and ensure non-compliance is corrected.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in consumer product and transit testing, compliance, and quality for a retailer or manufacturer.
  • In-depth understanding of product performance, safety, and regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to explain technical subjects to a non-technical audience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
