Job Summary

Marin City Health and Wellness Center is seeking a Family Medicine Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide high-quality patient care, develop and maintain clinical programs, and contribute to our quality management program.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain clinical programs to deliver high-quality clinical care to the family medicine patient population.
  • Collaborate with specialists and other clinical partners to provide comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the implementation of a comprehensive quality management program related to family medicine services.
  • Provide direct patient care, patient follow-up, and referrals as needed.
  • Provide health education and counseling to patients in a sensitive and supportive manner.

Qualifications:

  • Current CA Medical License and Board Certification Eligibility.
  • Demonstrated medical clinical skills.
  • Interest in working with a diverse patient population in a community-based organization.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with individuals from a wide range of ages, socio-economic, ethnic, racial backgrounds, and disabilities.
  • Spanish language ability an asset.
  • Ability to work well independently under minimum supervision.
  • Knowledge of San Francisco community resources is desirable.
  • Valid California driver's license, automobile, and automobile liability insurance.
  • Experience with electronic health records, specifically eCW strongly preferred.
  • Community health clinic background preferred.
  • Experience as part of a team-based care model preferred.
