Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Welding Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our welding processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform inspections on incoming materials and oversee welding processes in accordance with ASME BPE standards.
  • Conduct thorough quality control evaluations of products during production and prior to shipment.
  • Inspection tasks encompass visual assessments, functional testing, and verification of packaging and labeling.
  • Generate comprehensive reports, including photographic documentation of any defects or discrepancies identified.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a welding inspection role.
  • Proficient in ASME BPE production welding standards.
  • Possession of ASME BPE certifications is mandatory.
Industry Experience:
  • Background in quality inspection, specifically in material receipt and welding inspection for ASME BPE.
  • Familiarity with ANSI Z1.4 sampling techniques and AQLs (training can be provided).
  • Physical capability to lift at least 20 lbs as required.
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel for timely documentation and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, both independently and in team settings.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Willingness to accommodate flexible scheduling.
Contractual Details:

This position is offered as a 1099 contract with ongoing opportunities.

Work Schedule:

Full-time commitment for a duration of 12 months, with an 8-hour workday.
