Job Summary:

The Executive Director of Store Operations is responsible for overseeing all aspects of in-store operations, including but not limited to:

  • Staffing and Scheduling: Ensure that the store is adequately staffed and that employees are scheduled to meet the needs of the business.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Maintain a clean and safe store environment, and ensure that all food products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and stocking of inventory, and ensure that the store is well-stocked at all times.
  • Cash Handling and Financial Management: Manage the store's cash handling and financial operations, including but not limited to cash handling, deposits, and reconciliations.
  • Brand Compliance: Ensure that the store is in compliance with all company policies and procedures, and that all employees are aware of and adhere to these policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to store employees, and ensure that they are equipped to perform their duties effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and resolve problems in a timely and effective manner, and make decisions that are in the best interest of the business.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with employees, customers, and other stakeholders, and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve business objectives.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Be adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, and be able to adjust to changing circumstances and priorities.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, reach, and scoop throughout the workday, and to lift up to 30-40 pounds regularly.
  • Certifications and Training: Possession of a valid driver's license, and completion of Jimmy John's Manager Certification program.
